Attendance Policy

Your participation in your lesson schedule is vital to your success. That being said, I expect each and every student to make it their priority to be present for their scheduled sessions.

If you should need to miss your lesson for any reason, I expect a cancellation request no less than 24 hours in advance. Simply log in to your Acuity Account or cancel using your lesson reminder sent via email/text. Each student is allowed one rescheduled lesson per fall and spring semester (these do not roll over) that will be automatically moved to the Flex Week at the end of the term. Summer Credits can be cancelled and rescheduled at your leisure as long as you adhere to the 24 hour policy. Should your lesson be cancelled outside of this window, you will forfeit your lesson time and one lesson will be deducted from your lesson package/credit package. If you need to cancel due to illness or are unable to make it into the studio for any reason, you may elect to have a virtual lesson/non singing lesson.

Families may also choose to swap lesson times with another family to avoid forfeiting their lesson should there be an instance of sudden illness or emergency. Email melcurtmusicstudio@gmail.com to coordinate a swap. (Last minute swaps cannot be guaranteed).


COVID-19 Vaccination Policy/Illness Policy

At this time, I am no longer requiring students that want in person lessons to be fully vaccinated. I will use my best judgement regarding masks, and may ask you to wear a mask for any reason during your lesson time.

A student that shows up sick to their lesson may be turned away and asked to reschedule at my discretion.

Payment Policy

Checks are due at the last lesson of every month for the upcoming month (with the only exception of there not being school held on that date, in which case checks are due the first lesson of that month). Checks must be made payable to “Waconia Community Education”

 

Membership Termination Policy

Should you need to terminate your membership package, you must send me a termination email 30 days before your renewal date (the 1st of the month). You will be charged for one more month after the termination is received and you may use your membership during this period
